Omniture Acquires Visual Sciences

Today Omniture announced an agreement to buy  Visual Sciences for $394 million dollars in cash and stock.

The two companies whose tools I use most have become one.   It now seems as a though a small town in Utah has firmly established itself as the capital of the web analytics world.  There are already promises of richer products, but only time will tell exactly what this means...
